Get to Know Mark!
Why did you get into golf?
My path in the golf industry started long before I realized it, and each year my passion grows. I love that golf is a game that can never be perfected, allowing people of all ages to share experiences in fantastic environments. It is a sport I can play forever, and it continues to provide great experiences for both my family and my colleagues.
What advice would you have for golfers?
Embrace change and the frustration that comes with it. Change is hard but if you want to make lasting changes to your game, it is very necessary.
Who do you like to coach?
When it comes to advice for other golfers, I always emphasize that while golf is difficult and practice can be a challenge, you should strive to make it fun. I recommend getting creative and designing games within the game to keep your practice sessions engaging.
What is your teaching style?
Regarding my coaching, I enjoy working with people from all walks of life. I particularly find it rewarding to help less experienced golfers improve their chipping, reach new personal bests for distance, or hit a series of their "best shots" in a row.
What is something interesting about you that is not golf related?
On a personal note, a fun fact about me is that I am actually afraid of heights. Despite this, I am always the first to ride a roller coaster, jump off a rock face into water, or even skydive!
